Master Bathroom Design
in Santa Monica
A bathroom design project in Santa Monica, shaped around space planning, material direction, visual balance, and a cohesive design-build approach that connects the concept with the way the home is actually built.
A Modern Master Bathroom
with a Warm, Elevated Feel.
This Santa Monica master bathroom design was created to feel modern, warm, and elevated while keeping the space clean, functional, and visually calm.
The design features a floating wood vanity, double vessel sinks, a large LED backlit mirror, dark stone-look wall tile, black fixtures, and a glass shower enclosure for a sleek contemporary look.
The goal was to create a refined primary bathroom with a spa-like feel, using warm wood tones to soften the darker tile and black hardware. The result is a balanced bathroom design that feels luxurious without becoming overly busy.
Clean Lines,
Strong Contrast.
This bathroom design focuses on clean lines, strong contrast, and a warm modern finish palette. The darker wall tile creates a dramatic backdrop, while the natural wood vanity brings warmth and texture into the room.
Instead of adding unnecessary clutter, the design uses a few strong elements: a floating vanity, oversized mirror, black fixtures, and glass shower enclosure. Together, they create a bathroom that feels polished, intentional, and high-end.
The Details That
Define the Bathroom.
Floating Wood Vanity
The wall-mounted vanity helps the bathroom feel more open while adding warmth, texture, and a custom furniture-like appearance.
Double Vessel Sinks
The double vessel sinks provide function for a primary bathroom while creating a clean, modern visual statement.
LED Backlit Mirror
The large backlit mirror adds soft, even lighting around the vanity area and gives the room a luxury hotel-inspired feel.
Dark Stone-Look Tile
Large-format dark tile adds depth, movement, and sophistication while keeping the overall look sleek and refined.
Black Fixtures
Black faucets, shower hardware, and vanity details create consistency, contrast, and a more architectural modern finish.
Glass Shower Enclosure
The glass enclosure keeps the bathroom feeling open while allowing the tile design and black hardware to remain visible.
Planned for Beauty,
Built for the Remodel.
This Santa Monica bathroom is a strong example of how material selection, layout planning, lighting, and construction details all need to work together. Floating vanities, vessel sinks, LED mirrors, large-format tile, glass shower enclosures, and plumbing fixture placement all require careful planning before construction begins.
At Overland Remodeling and Builders, we help homeowners with the full design-build process, including layout planning, material selection, drafting and engineering when needed, permits and approvals, construction, and final walkthrough.
